Nancy, along with her husband Les, founded Juneau Construction Company in 1997. Since opening its doors 26 years ago, Juneau has become among the top woman-owned general contractors in the Southeast, and the 2nd largest woman-owned firm in Georgia. Juneau is also ranked among the Top General Contractors in Georgia and South Florida by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and South Florida Business Journal. Juneau has grown to over $400 million in annual revenues and over 185 employees with offices in Atlanta, Miami and Tampa. Juneau performs as Construction Managers, Design-Builders and General Contractors on public and private projects across the Southeast. Core markets include Commercial Office, Higher Education, Hospitality, Mixed-Use, Multifamily, Senior Living, and Student Housing. Passionate about giving back to the community, Nancy serves on numerous organizations and boards. Nancy is serving an eight-year term as a University of Georgia Foundation, Board of Trustee, giving back to her Alma Mater. She is also a member of the Board of Councilors for The Carter Center, an organization focused on “Waging Peace. Fighting Disease. Building Hope” founded by President Jimmy Carter. She currently serves on three Construction Management Advisory boards for our collegiate partners at Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Florida, and Auburn University. In 2022, Nancy was recognized as one of Atlanta Business Chronicles’ Women of Influence. Additionally, in 2018, Nancy was named one of Atlanta’s Most Admired CEO’s by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and was recognized by March of Dimes with a Women of Distinction Award for her extensive contributions to the local community. Nancy is the past Chairman of the Board of Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia and she also serves on the Georgia Independent College Association Board and Executive Committee. Additionally, Nancy enjoys speaking on panels, at conferences and to local businesses including events for Clemson Construction Industry Symposium, UGA Terry Business School, NAWIC and ENR’s Groundbreaking Women in Construction Conference. Nancy, a 30-year veteran in the AEC industry, also enjoys mentoring women in a variety of industries to help them grow both personally and professionally.

A University of Georgia graduate, Alexandra joined Juneau in 2017 with a degree in Marketing. She began her career at Juneau Construction in our Marketing department. After gaining valuable experience on our Marketing strategy, she has since transitioned into Business Development, where she now works on identifying new opportunities, while leading the strategic direction on new project pursuits. Additionally, she is passionate about recruiting the best talent to Juneau and supports our recruiting team in those efforts. Alexandra is currently on the ABC of Georgia Board of Directors. She is also involved in Juneau’s Outreach Committee, League of Women, and industry organizations such as ULI, NMHC, and CMAA.
