A taskforce of the Technical Assistance Programs (TAPs) Committee addressing innovations in planning and design through four housing product solutions that are quickly implemented, unsubsidized, utilize existing land and materials, and affordable for 10% – 120% AMI.

Clayton County Community Development Department (Mountain View)
Comprehensive development strategy to determine how Clayton County can maximize economic development, properly brand the area to create a positive perception, create an entertainment district, and ultimately establish Mountain View as a major regional economic engine.


Christian City
Explore development opportunities for about 200 acres of property owned by the organization in Union City, Georgia, as part of a strategy to provide a regular revenue stream to support its mission.

East Metro DeKalb CID
Assess Wesley Chapel-Panola corridor revitalization corridor development strategies aimed at growing the economic vitality of the CID district.


City of Atlanta (143 Alabama Street)
Assess, analyze and recommend best uses for a building owned by the City located at 143 Alabama Street, commonly referred to as the Atlanta Constitution Building.

Examine the desirable retail mix in the Sweet Auburn Historic District in Downtown Atlanta, Georgia (the “Study Area”) as part of a broader strategy to revitalize the Study Area.

Fort Mac LRA
Advisory services and recommendations determining the market and development opportunities for the 145-acre± parcel of the former Fort McPherson (Fort Mac) in Atlanta, Georgia, that MILRA acquired from the Army.

Athens Clarke County Unified Government – Lexington Road Study
Strategy and recommendations for strengthening the retail presence along the Corridor and creating a strategy to address underutilized areas. The central question was how to transform the Lexington Road Corridor into a vibrant entryway to Athens.


Athens Clarke County Unified Government:  Advisory services and recommendations for ways for ACCUG to retain current retail businesses, expand the desirability of the corridor to new retail business and other uses, and enhance the appearance and flow along the corridor.

City of Clarkston: Advisory services for improving the economic competitiveness of Clarkston and its downtown area.  The City asked for assistance in understanding the unmet needs of its residents and examining ways to attract nonresident customers, new tenants and private investment.


Atlanta Streetcar: Advisory services to provide insight regarding the development opportunities within the Atlanta Streetcar Corridor and recommendations to implement the final strategy.

Boulevard CID: Advisory services to the Boulevard Community Improvement District (CID) for the redevelopment of the properties adjacent to the Fulton Industrial Boulevard and I-20 Interchange.

Mableton: Advisory services and recommendations for the South Cobb Redevelopment Authority and the Atlanta Regional Commission through its Lifelong Mableton Initiative to   attract investment and development of property located in the center of Mableton in accordance with the Lifelong Communities Plan and Cobb County’s redevelopment   objectives for the Mableton area, Georgia.


City of Morrow:  Advisory Services to provide the City of Morrow with a development strategy for the Southlake Parkway potential redevelopment area in Morrow, Georgia.

Columbus: Recommendations for The Redevelopment & Revitalization Of The 13th Avenue & 13th Street Corridors in Columbus, Georgia.

East Point:  Advisory Services to provide the East Point Business and Industrial Development Authority (BIDA) and the City with Guidance and Direction for Revitalization and Redevelopment of the Downtown Commons Area in East Point, Georgia.


ARC:  Assist the Atlanta Regional Commission in re-evaluating its materials and planning policies for its 2040 Plan.

Atlanta BeltLine:  provide a “developer perspective” to Atlanta BeltLine Inc. (ABI) on 12 proposed BeltLine Community Benefits Principles.

City of Norcross:  Advisory services regarding new, mixed-use development around Lillian Webb Park located in the Norcross Central Business District in Norcross,Georgia.

College Park:  Provide guidance & direction in developing a design/ build  process for the bus shelter south of the intersection of Old National Highway & Godby Road.

Stone Mountain: Advice and recommendations for the redevelopment of a failed condominium project near the west entrance of Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain, Georgia.


Old Fourth Ward:  Assist with the creation of a detailed implementation strategy for the recently approved Old Fourth Ward Redevelopment Plan Update and provide to City of Atlanta Council members guidance and direction, through discussion among a panel of experts in the areas of city planning, development, and implementation.


City of Atlanta:  Advisory services and recommendations to the City of Atlanta focusing on the real estate aspect of the permitting process and facility with emphasis on location, operations and financing of a new Permitting Center.


Inner Harbour:  Provide Inner Harbour guidance and direction on developing a strategic plan for its Douglasville campus through discussion among a panel of experts in the areas of market analysis, brokerage, land planning, zoning, engineering, and development.
