    Amy Stone

    Georgia Tech

    Amy Stone is an accomplished architect with a passion for sustainable design and equity in architecture. A triple Jacket at Georgia Tech, she earned highest honors in her Bachelor's and Master’s in Architecture (2011, 2020) and an MBA from Scheller College of Business (2023). Amy's connection to Georgia Tech is deep, having contributed to projects such as The Kendeda Building for Innovative and Sustainable Design and the conceptual phase of Tech Square Phase 3. With extensive design and management expertise across a diverse range of project types, Amy has worked on commercial office spaces, commercial building repositioning, multi-family housing, higher education, mixed-use developments, adaptive reuse, and residential renovations. Her expertise spans all phases of design and construction, ensuring innovative and sustainable outcomes. Currently, Amy is a lecturer at Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State University. She has taught a wide variety of classes including Design Communications, Introduction to Structures, and Professional Practice: Building Codes and Technical Documentation. A mother of three, Amy enjoys triathlons, photography, and playing the piano in her spare time.

    Chloe Newton

    HOK

    Originally, from North Augusta, South Carolina, Chloe Newton, has always had an interest in creative work. From fashion to painting, she knew she would pursue a career in the arts. After graduating High School, she attended the College of Charleston. There she majored in Historic Preservation and Community Planning with a minor in Studio Art and Sociology. After leaving Charleston, she received her first post-degree position at the High Museum of Art in the retail department. Declaring that she did not want to be the world’s best gift shop employee, she stumbled upon a book called Iggy Peck Architect. It was in that moment, that she decided that she would apply for Georgia Institute of Technology’s Master of Architecture program. Currently, Chloe Newton is working as a Senior Design Professional at HOK. Her project type experience includes multifamily housing, institutional, medical education, and science and Technology. In addition, she is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at nearby universities, Emory University and Gwinnett Technical College, where she teaches the fundamentals of architecture, visualization, and BIM software. In her spare time, she likes to try new healthy recipes and take barre classes at her local studio. She is a recent graduate of the Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program and serves on the Board of Directors for AIA Georgia.

    Kristyn Tumbleson

    Associate Director, PEAK Leadership Institute at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School

    Kristyn Tumbleson brings a wealth of experience from the education and nonprofit sectors, with a strong background in educational leadership, strategic planning and communications, corporate and foundation relations, and public-private partnerships. As associate director of PEAK Leadership Institute, Kristyn connects industry experts with students and teachers and develops curriculum that is authentic to current workplace needs - furthering the Institute's mission to develop leaders and inspire passions. Prior to her time at Holy Innocents', Kristyn served as a director at Coxe Curry & Associates where she worked with clients on fundraising strategy and communications. During her tenure she had the privilege to work with a diverse set of organizations including Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities, Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, the University of North Georgia, and many of metro Atlanta's independent schools.

    Christy Dodson

    Code Studio

    Christy Dodson is an Associate Principal at Code Studio where she leads the firm’s Atlanta office. Her work focuses on creative zoning strategies that reduce barriers to more equitable, pedestrian-focused, incremental development outcomes. Christy relies on her previous experience managing adaptive reuse and urban infill projects to bring together high-level policy goals with practical implementation. She has authored codes adopted by communities across the country that are innovative, user-friendly, and responsive to the unique needs of each place. Christy holds a Master of City and Regional Planning and a Master of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology, where she also received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.
