Sneak peek into Knoxville's new creative hub with insider tour of the Emory underground
This event will start with an insightful presentation from the developer, Ilana Brodt - don't be late!
Developer, Ilana Brodt, first saw Emory Place and thought to herself this would be the perfect location for her concept. The goal is to create a social hub supporting multidisciplinary activities in a collaborative model, blending the borders between living, working, learning, and between business and pleasure. Enhancing social and multicultural collaborative opportunities in the city through art and culture. Having grown up in the world of fine arts, Ilana wanted to create an urban cove in Knoxville showcasing galleries, stores, and open street art installations.
The street as a whole is actually one parcel, comprising of over 45,000 sq ft, with approximately 20,000 sq ft basement connecting all buildings. We are close to finishing Phase 1, which included renovating the existing structures, creating a unified aesthetic, and cherry-picking tenants that we believe would have a symbiotic relationship and adhere to the theme of art and culture.
