Grab your favorite morning beverage and breakfast and join WLI as we continue our monthly virtual breakfast series for the WLI program year. The breakfast series will feature women of influence within the real estate and land use industry, technology, marketing and business with a focus on leadership, professional development & networking.
For the month of December, we will be joined by four leaders in sustainability and urban agriculture:
- Elizabeth Beak, Food Systems Planner at City of Atlanta Department of City Planning and AgLanta Team;
- Heather Hussey-Coker, Executive Director of Groundwork Atlanta;
- Jessica Doward, Manager of Five Points Farm;
- Erica (“Umi”) Clahar, Co-Manager of Whitehall Terrace and Executive Director of Umi Feeds
We will learn about the current collaborative efforts underway from the City’s One Atlanta Office and Department of City Planning. Join us and learn how AgLanta is leveraging city assets and partnerships to create systems of support for local growers and our local food economy, while investing in and highlighting the importance of urban agriculture.
