Join ULI Knoxville on January 7th for a behind the scenes tour of the historic South High School project. South High was redesigned to embrace seniors aged 62 and over while implementing energy-efficient, modern amenities to make life both convenient and pleasant. The existing structure made the design for residential use easy, with a cafeteria ready for transformation to dining hall, and classrooms ideally situated to become apartments.
Rick Dover of Dover Signature Properties will be on-site explaining the transformation from locker rooms and classrooms to the 60-unit apartment senior living and memory care community. Come see how Rick Dover and his team are preserving the work of one of Knoxville’s most well-known architects, Charles Barber who designed the original school building in 1932.
