Tailored after the hit TV show, Shark Tank, ULI Atlanta’s 1st ever Real Estate Development Shark Tank will bring together aspiring and veteran developers in front of a live audience, as they pitch their projects in front of an expert panel of sharks.
The sharks represent Atlanta’s most seasoned leaders in the industry and will offer the audience an opportunity to look behind the scenes at the inner-workings of an investment committee.
ULI Atlanta is soliciting investment proposals from savvy, aspiring real estate developers who are actively pursuing financing for a particular real estate deal in the metro Atlanta area. Two finalists will be selected to pitch their projects to a seasoned panel.
Access to capital is often the most taxing and difficult part of the real estate development process. Our sharks will critically analyze each project with the goal of providing constructive feedback designed to bring the development to fruition. Expect candid, spirited, and rapid-fire debate as the sharks aim to entertain while educating, advising and empowering presenters.
Developers of all size and experience levels are encouraged to submit an investment proposal. There is no minimum or maximum deal requirement, and every project type – from ground-up development to adaptive reuse – will be considered. Presenters must have control of the proposed site or project through ownership or an executed Purchase and Sale Agreement.
Thoughtful development is top of mind for every ULI Atlanta member. As Atlanta continues to grow, local developers have an enormous influence on how the city can evolve into a loveable, livable community. The Shark Tank exemplifies ULI’s mission of providing leadership in the responsible use of land and creating sustainable and thriving communities. As co-chair of ULI Atlanta’s very first Shark Tank, I am excited to be an eyewitness to the future developments that will help shape Atlanta into a better city for all of us.
Please join us for an evening of relationship building, deal making, and empowering conversation on the future of Atlanta development. To register or find more information, visit our Shark Tank website.
