WLI (Women’s Leadership Initiative) will host a casual breakfast to provide women in the industry an opportunity to build meaningful relationships and gain career insights as they discuss certain topics. The WLI breakfast is for members only and will occur on the second Tuesday of every month.

Whether competing in new client pitches, delivering leadership presentations, or simply persuading clients, partners, or executives, real estate leaders must be able to communicate their ideas effectively.

WLI will kick-off 2019 with speaker Nancy Vason, who will provide guest with tools to help you communicate more effectively by teaching you to speak in a way that connects with listeners and inspires confidence.

Nancy Vason has spent much of her career helping corporate leaders become more effective communicators. She had a ten-year career at BellSouth, working as a speechwriter for top executive leaders and coaching sales professionals. She has been an executive coach at Speechworks for many years, and serves as an adjunct professor at the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech. She is a University of Georgia grad, and holds two masters of science degrees, one in business administration from Boston University and one in education from Georgia State University.

Cost: $25

Breakfast is limited to 35 ULI members only. Onsite registration is not available for the monthly breakfast series.

The mission of the WLI is expressed in its four primary objectives:

Promote the advancement of women, throughout their careers, as leaders in the real estate industry.

Increase the number of women who serve in leadership positions in the real estate industry and in ULI.

Increase the visibility of women leaders in the real estate industry and in ULI.

Increase the number of women who are active ULI Full members, and support the development of young women members as leaders in ULI and in their professions.
