Everyone is talking about the skilled labor shortage but, just how bad is it and more importantly, what can we do about it? In the ULI and PwC 2018 Emerging Trends report, labor shortages was identified as one of the obstacles impacting the housing market today. Join us and CEFGA President and CEO Scott Shelar, as he discusses the skilled labor shortage and how it’s impacting the building industry in metro Atlanta.

CEFGA (formerly Construction Education Foundation of Georgia), is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Under Scott’s leadership, CEFGA has received national recognition for its annual CareerExpo and SkillsUSA State Championships, which draws more than 7,000 attendees annually and its Construction Ready Program, which has trained and placed more than 500 residents in the construction industry in the last three years.

CEFGA is supported by hundreds of leading construction companies, trade associations, trade unions, government agencies, and other nonprofit organizations throughout the state. Come join us to hear and learn more about the construction industry and what CEFGA is doing here in metro Atlanta.
