Chattanooga Crossroads | Past, Present, Future

Regionally well positioned in the Southeast at a crossroads between Atlanta, Nashville, Knoxville and Birmingham, Chattanooga’s continued success and growth are building on the past while looking to opportunities in its future. The growing mid-sized city is well known for its collaborative spirit, reinventing itself through major projects such as the 21st Century Waterfront Plan and recently its renewed City Center at Miller Park. We welcome you to make a stop in Chattanooga at a crossroads to ULI’s Spring meeting in Nashville. Chattanooga welcomes all to see and experience our declaration to the world.

With assets ranging from convenient access to outdoor recreation to its growing tech economy, Chattanooga is at a crossroads strategically aligning a future vision with one that meets the needs of current residents and newcomers alike. On this 1.5-day event we will tour and highlight:

  • The Innovation District and City Center;
  • Chattanooga’s Riverfront;
  • Chattanooga’s West End;
  • Chattanooga’s Mayor Andy Berke will give a keynote presentation about the future of Chattanooga and recent public realm improvements in the City Center including Miller Park and Patten Parkway.
  • Senator Bob Corker will present his vision for returning to the river through the 21st Century Waterfront Project. Completed in 2005, this $120 million investment across 129 acres on both sides of the river, connected all downtown redevelopment into a seamless network of attractions, commerce housing and entertainment.

Note: All locations are within walking distance, no additional transportation will be necessary. Uber, bike share and CARTA’s free shuttle are available in downtown.

Chattanooga’s Host Committee: River City Company, Chattanooga Design Studio, AGC of East Tennessee, and Lamp Post Properties
