2017 Awards

Since 1994, ULI Atlanta has recognized outstanding real estate development projects and honors leaders in the Southeast region including Georgia, Alabama, and Eastern Tennessee. The annual Awards Dinner is one of the most esteemed nights where representatives from all avenues of our industry gather for great conversation, inspiring stories, delicious food and good laughs.

2017 Awards

The Urban Land Institute Atlanta District Council celebrated 23 years of recognizing outstanding leadership in development in the Southeast at the annual Awards for Excellence Dinner.

The ULI Awards for Excellence program recognizes an outstanding real estate development project or initiative that exemplifies the ULI’s mission of providing leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities. Eligible nominee projects must have been completed during the past three years, must be in stabilized operation, exemplify a sustainable model and have achieved market acceptance. The ULI Awards for Excellence program identifies and promotes best practices in all types of real estate development. The awards recognize the full development process of a project—construction, economic viability, marketing, and management—as well as design.

ULI Atlanta will give awards in four categories relating to best in class real estate development. These awards are the Development of Excellence Award, the Building Healthy Places Award, and two life-time achievement awards: the Frank Carter Community Achievement Award and The Dan & Tally Sweat Community Leadership Award.
