ULI Atlanta & Lambda Alpha International Present

Green space provides a variety of amenities, such as attractive views, open space preservation, and convenient recreation opportunities. People value these amenities. This can be reflected in increased real property values and increased marketability for property located near open space. Developers are increasingly recognizing these values and incorporating open space into planning, design, and the marketing of new and redeveloped properties.

This LAI – ULI joint program will illustrate that, more than just pretty places that contribute to our way and quality of life, green space is a productive asset that generates significant economic value. Green space contributes to our local economies and property values, and it helps us save on everything from health care to recreation. Green space also naturally improves the air we breathe and the water we drink, reducing the cost of providing these basic needs.
